Labor Day Weekend at Village Camp Flagstaff was an absolute blast, packed with activities and memories that will last a lifetime. If you couldn’t make it, here’s a glimpse of the fun you missed – and a preview of upcoming events that you won’t want to miss out on!
We kicked off the weekend with a cozy Movie Night in the Forest at our stunning amphitheater. Families and friends gathered under the stars, snuggled in blankets, and enjoyed a classic film in the serene outdoor setting. It was the perfect start to an unforgettable weekend.
The fun continued on Saturday morning with Family Fitness with The Foundry Yoga on the Event Lawn. Energized and ready for the day, campers of all ages then bounced their way into excitement at our Bounce House Extravaganza, open from 11am to 5pm.
Nature enthusiasts laced up their hiking boots for a Nature Meet-Up on the Aspen Trail, exploring the breathtaking wilderness surrounding our resort. Meanwhile, creativity flourished at our Arts & Crafts stations where participants made friendship bracelets, decorated hats of community helpers, and crafted watermelon suncatchers.
As the sun set, the amphitheater came alive with the infectious energy of live music from Sir Harrison and the Blues Kings, filling the air with soulful tunes and good vibes.
Sunday morning saw an exhilarating E-Bike Ride starting from the Clubhouse, followed by another day of Bounce House fun. The Arts & Crafts activities continued, keeping the creative spirits high.
One of the highlights of the day was the Axe Throwing session, where campers tested their skills and channeled their inner lumberjacks. The afternoon was packed with friendly competition at the Cornhole Tournament, bringing out the competitive spirit in everyone.
As night fell, the Star Party with Flagstaff Stargazing Adventures provided a magical end to the day, with telescopes and knowledgeable guides helping everyone explore the wonders of the night sky.
The weekend concluded with a delightful Pancake Breakfast on Monday morning. It was the perfect opportunity for everyone to gather one last time, share stories of their adventures, and enjoy a delicious meal before heading home.
