Step back into the vibrant energy of Independence Week at Village Camp Flagstaff! From thrilling axe throwing and live music to outdoor survival courses and stargazing under the stars, here’s a peek into the unforgettable moments you missed.
Summer at Village Camp Flagstaff blazed with excitement during our Independence Week event. Families, friends, and outdoor enthusiasts gathered from July 3rd to July 7th for a packed schedule of activities designed to embrace the great outdoors.
UNFORGETTABLE HIGHLIGHTS:
AXE THROWING AND OUTDOOR THRILLS
We kicked off on July 3rd with morning yoga sessions on the Event Lawn, the day heated up with axe throwing at the Main Entrance from 4 PM to 8 PM. As dusk settled, our Amphitheater transformed into an outdoor cinema for a captivating Movie in the Forest at 7:45 PM.
JULY 4TH FESTIVITIES
Independence Day was a celebration like no other at Village Camp. The day kicked off at 8:30 AM with guests adorning their bikes, golf carts, and scooters for the 4th of July Parade at 9:30 AM. From 11 AM to 3 PM, attendees engaged in outdoor survival classes led by Southwest Survival at the Amphitheater. The fun continued with an Ice Cream Social by the pool at 1 PM, followed by a Cornhole Tournament on the Event Lawn from 3 PM to 5 PM. Guests enjoyed mouthwatering treats from the Aioli Burger Food Truck during the Cookout from 4 PM to 8 PM. As the evening set in, Jahlos and The Rebels rocked the Amphitheater with live music from 6 PM to 8 PM. The festivities concluded with the Star Party, hosted by Flagstaff Stargazing Adventures, lighting up the night sky from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
CONTINUING THE FUN
July 5th and 6th kept the momentum going with more outdoor survival courses, nature meetups, and creative arts and crafts sessions at the Clubhouse. Energetic e-bike rides explored scenic trails departing from the Clubhouse, offering breathtaking views and adventure for all. The Modern Tortilla food truck delighted taste buds, while live performances by Nash Woody and the Hodads on July 5th and Chester Carmer on July 6th filled the Amphitheater with melodies that echoed through the mountain air.
GRAND FINALE
The event wrapped up on July 7th with more E-Bike rides, ensuring everyone had a chance to soak in the beauty and camaraderie of Village Camp Flagstaff.
